At breakfast, we have opened a new tub of spreadable butter. It coils on top, clearly from the way it was poured into the container by the machine at the factory. A conversation ensues about what the butter resembles (you can guess what the first suggestion was, of course).
B — That would be gross to eat, if it were poop instead of butter!
Mom — You know, dung beetles eat animal poop and use it to build their homes.
B — Eeew! Gross! They eat poop?!
R — So that’s why they’re called dumb beetles…
